Team
Teams matter to us more than an individual.

I am a plant ecologist with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Botany from the University of Calcutta. I work in the domain of biological invasion, one of the main components of global change, with one simple question: how do some species become community-dominant when they are introduced outside their native range?
I teach Quantitative Biology, Quantitative reasoning and methods, and Conservation Biology at Azim Premji University (Bhopal campus).
I am a voracious reader of historical nonfiction, and I love photographing the natural world (with a bias for flower and macro photography).
